Local History

Howdy all,

I think the thing that really made me want to be a history teacher was growing up in such a history-rich area. While Midway might not be the epitome of excitement, some cool things have happened there in the past. This link is to a special edition of the Liberty County newspaper that was released in 1959 for the opening of the Midway Museum. It tells a lot of stories about Liberty County's past.

Hey guys,
I really don't like how our school-provided websites are set up (or the amount of storage space they give us), so I'm picking back up with my Google venture. My intent is to have your PowerPoints and handouts available on this site and to not have to delete them to add new material like I do with the school site.
